Amaimon:
۞ —— Well, it seemed this kid was rather persistent on getting him to consider this whole scenario he was creating — or maybe it was something that was actually happening? — he might as well colaborate and pay attention to him. Even if it was idiotic since he’d never see himself in such a situation, but what was the point of being so close-minded about this subject? It would be the same as plainly ignoring the other blabber but, if he wanted to get his Taiyaki, it would be good if he didn’t behave like a rude demon. At least giving some answers would be seen as more educated than just staying quiet, risking to get the human think again about buying him his food.
❝I would.❞ Of course, he would have to see the situation as if he was against humans — and was just as weak as one — for it wouldn’t work if he did not see it that way. If upper level demons tried to get rid off him then there would be nothing to save him, not even killing anyone. That would be seen more… his last kill, his last time to enjoy his power before he would be stepped on as if he was an ant. And to be hones, that could easily happen if he angered any of his brothers. As the younger of the seven kings of Hell, he had to be careful. ❝I wouldn’t like to get killed by some random human—-❞ Hah, that’s hilarious. Very hilarious. ❝It’s weird to think that would happen to me.❞ And here comes the one million dollar’s question. ❝Why do you ask?❞
The mention of getting closer to their destination did give him some animus to keep going, he was hungry, after all. Irises were addressed at Yukkiteru’s direction, giving two blinks at that statement. Killing the man of the candy truck startled him that much? That mishap was already on the back of the demon’s head, about to be forgotten until it was brought up again now.
If this guy could imagine such things about killing or getting killed then he should’ve, at least, seen someone die in that predicament before, no? On his point of view, there wouldn’t be another way to get something like that stuck onto oneself’s mind. Or perhaps it was just curiosity? Humans had a lot of shows, games — which his brother had shown to him — and other things that were quiet violent. Maybe it was about some game—? Ah, whatever. So long he gets his damn taiyaki it’s all good.

❝I won’t kill anyone. I don’t have a reason to do so.❞ He didn’t feel like getting in trouble, and murdering someone here — now — with a lot of witnesses around, even if most of them were children who would barely understand the situation. It would still cause uproar, and his brother would quickly notice that.
But actually—— By not getting caugh so far for committing murder on an innocent human only could mean that Mephisto was taking charge of something much more important than having to deal with Amaimon’s disobedience and careless acts. So, even if he wasn’t planning on doing that again for he feared he might lose that free food he had been of, maybe it wouldn’t happen nothing too bad to him if he shed some blood. Thing that he greatly needed lately for the lack of, his definition of, entertainment he was allowed to have in Assiah.
— {♟} Oh… Was he supposed to accept that as an answer?
Now that he thought about it, he really should have thought before asking the question. I mean, what did I expect?
Pity?
Curiosity?
A shred of consideration for his current predicament?
How about he tears the remaining naivety to shards before daring to speak again? Oh, that sounded swell. But he would never, could never, commit murder and try not to wipe his hands clean of the sort. It was just the touchy subject he refused to acknowledge. People die. It was fact. But the way they died… To be betrayed, stabbed, shot, beaten to death… That was to cruel to accept as reality.
“Oh, t-the reason?”
…Of course he would be asked to name such. Although the inquisitiveness was probably a mere conversation holder to keep him satisfied until the taiyaki was ordered, it still would be wrong to leave the question unanswered. “I…I think I’m in a similar situation.”

{ Oh, are you now? }
{ - – That’s a shame. How about we become allies, hm? I’ll be sure to keep you safe. Promise. }
Yeah, that was definitely going to happen. N O T . Taking the current scenario into account, the idea of Amaimon helping him out probably ranked on the far end of the MOST LIKELY TO HAPPEN. Probably hovered around “GASAI YUNO BEING SANE” and “YUKITERU WINNING THE SURVIVAL GAME."Amaimon had already said through actions that his primary concern was himself. And if Yukki were to reproach such actions, then he would be lumped with the worst sort of hypocrites. "B…but it’s unlikely that I’ll survive long… Ahaha, I have this one, um, ally. But even so, I don’t really want to kill her because she’s, uhh…”
Screw it. He was blushing now, even though no specific details were brought to light. Damn his susceptibility to embarrassment, wow. He doubted Amaimon would mind this display of wimpiness, but it still bothered him. He still had some dignity left. Yuno… Screw her, making him turn red without even being there. Wow.
"Hey, I never said I thought you would kill anyone–“
Huh? What was that last clause?
{ I don’t have a reason to do so. }
Hm? Was that…a trace of humanity there? Sure, having a reason to kill was pretty bad. But without that reason, the potential for friendship between the two seemed to have a bright outlook. Sweet. No pun intended. "You’re not that bad a guy, Amaimon…san.”

The honorific sounded strange at the end of his name. Awkward on his lips. But respect seemed to be demanded now, especially after revealing his utter stupidity yet again. “For that, I’ll buy you two treats instead of one. How does that sound?”
He pitied his starving wallet. Ahh, yet another chunk of his allowance wasted. But it was for a good cause, right? Whatever.
Turning to the cashier now – a smiling woman, overly pleasant, but perhaps that was what the job required most? – Yukki tried to smile. Oh God, he sucked at making orders. The customary mumbling sounded quite pathetic, but at least he would never go to this store again. “A…aah, three taiyak..i… please.”
This better be worth it.
